Campo Tures

Just got back from 3 days in Campo Tures, flying from Ahornach. First day was nothing special, but day two was great! Got 50 minutes in the air, topped out around 2,200m. Super happy with that! Fullscreen Altitude: --- m Speed: --- km/h Distance: --- km I did make one pretty dumb mistake though. I’d been waiting at launch for hours in shorts and t-shirt, no gloves. It was already 5pm, sun starting to drop, and I was harnessed up ready to go....

Castelluccio di Norcia

I spent four days in Castelluccio di Norcia, a beautiful village nestled in the mountains of Umbria, together with my friends from NoName Fly Zone. Our journey started on Wednesday night. Simone and I left Piacenza right after dark in his green Volkswagen T3 straight out of the 80s. This thing doesn’t like going past 90 km/h, but after a couple of hours on the road, we eventually found ourselves in a parking lot along the highway, our improvised stop for the night....

Alpe Giumello

This was my first time flying at Alpe Giumello. I completed two flights: one in the early afternoon and another around 4pm. During the second flight, I launched westward, passing close to the Big Bench 223. I could see people sitting on it and waved at them. Looking up, I could see the three branches of Lake Como through a light haze before making a U-turn back towards the landing site....
